Now he said "instructing isn't for everybody" but in all honesty if you cant explain a maneuver to somebody or if you can't explain an instrument approach procedure, or give tips on landings, which is all instructing is really. Sure you can argue that instructing takes a little more than just that. but if it's THAT hard for you... stay out of an airplane for your sake, and my family's sake! quote]

This is the section that I felt slammed anyone that hadn't been an instructor.

And I never said I COULD instruct, I said there are people out there that are good at it, and people like me. I don't have the patience for it, but kudos to anyone that does. Prosecution rests your honor.

not a big fan of gulfstream academy. you are paying for a job after all you spent over 60,000 for your flight training. well again if people got that much more money to waste / drain ..... let them go for it....
well again teaching is a skill its not for everyone.

There will always be ways people will think of to make money on the top-side. The ATP requirement may solve the "scar of Gulfstream"... but there will be others that side step regs or have special 'authorizations' from the FAA for various programs - now maybe more so on the 135 side or something. I don't think that the requirement will increase pilot pay overall, across the board.

Of course it's just my opinion.....
