Default Emirates Contacts?

If there are any pilots here who work for Emirates I would love to hear from you. Please PM me or drop me a line at cyclist_jim at yahoo dot com.

Thanks!

PS - This is legit. I am considering my options that seems like a decent deal for some folks.

Have you read all the information here on Emirates? It is quite comprehensive. Just do a search in the foreign section and you'll get a few hours worth of reading material.

Here are two of the bigger links to start you with:

Emirates Hiring

These go back a few years and have a lot of the good with the bad. Happy reading !!

Thanks for the links. I have read some and will read more. But I am also hoping to make contact with some pilots to inquire personally.

But anyway, thanks for the links! It's a great start!

Default Emirates info

Go to PpruNe.net and the Middle East section to find out even more.

Warning though.... Not all of it is good stuff

And when you go to PPrune keep a couple of things in mind. There are around 2000 pilots at EK and you will see at the most a dozen reapeated names posting. Most at Ek don't even bother to read it anymore, at least that is what guys tell me. So keep it in perspective. Not all great, not all bad, like any job anywhere. But the pruners seem to be the extreme, most of the time. Now and again there will be some guys that will add perspective...so surf, but bewarned.

I went to the informational recruitment seminar in MSP the other day. Very impressive.

I am very interested and am going to take the next step of applying. Maybe I'll get an interview and can see the place first-hand. The only real question mark is the idea of moving to Dubai. I am single, so it's not that hard. But it's still a quantum shift even so.

Big decisions.

With Emirates' latest US recruitment process we might give the Brits a run for their money there at EK. I guess 50% of the pilots hired in the last year have been from the US.

Part of the reason is the sinking dollar I would guess.
