Default Cathay Hiring Age Cutoff
Does anyone know if there is a cutoff age for hiring at Cathay?

What about some of the other foreign carriers- Most interested in Asian carriers.

You can ask one of the PPruners. They would have better information for you along with the T&Cs. Good carrier to work for from what I hear.

Don't know if has changed but two years ago there was an age 50 maximum.

I presently work for Kingfisher in India, no age limit up to 64, most airlines around Asia are around 63. Best jet320

Hi!

According to the message boards, Cathay just changed to age 65. Don't know about max for hiring. Emirates just deleted their age 57 hiring max, and went from 60->65. I think Cathay and Emirates are the 2 best Asian carriers for US guys.

I have heard that the age is 46 at time of application but with the retirement age now 65 that may not apply anymore.

Max 45 years old. Unoffical now because they hire in countries that dont allow age discrimination.

I just got the call (email) for a Cathay interview and I am 46. Really old.
