Default ICAO tickets

Can anyone help me with a link or something that can get me started in the direction to find the requirements to acquire JAA tickets. I know its difficult but im interested in living and flying abroad in a few years and want to start researching now..

Do you are are you working on having right to abode/work in the EU?

That could be tougher than securing your JAA certs.
