Wasinc
This is in reference my earlier post regarding Kungpeng airlines. However, for those who don't know, actual employment is with WAS Inc.
Does any one have any info or know anyone who has gone through contracts with WASINC? Anyone know any "expat" living in and flying in China?
What do they think? Any info they wish they had known before?
Thanks for the info!

WASINC is a good company. on the other hand kungPen STAY AWAY if you can. there are a lot of guys that they are there currently but haven't flown for 4-6 months. reason for it is documentation. i left from kungpen so did about 4 other guys. Actually few more are about to call it quits very soon.
There is o guaranty that you will see the EMB and defenitelly no guaranty for upgrading on the A320 OR 737 OR 747. Accommodations are very poor and dealing with the chinise govermant is a pain. Contact for the chinish worth less than toilet paper. THEY DO NOT HONOR THE CONTRACT and that is a problem. Oh and MESA is pulling out of China too. If you need mor specifics PM me.

I'm waiting to hear the word and I'll be on my way over. Everything I have experienced with them has been positive so far. I would love to hear what "icarosF1" has to say but not allowed to PM you cause I'm new to the forum. PM me icarosF1 and let me know what you've been experiencing.
thanks

thanks for the heads up jetflyger. Kinda sucks because you come to the forum to get information, then you have to right pointly posts like this one just to be able to get it!
With all of the furloughs and the fact that I'm drowning in overpriced flight training, its time to take the drastic step and do what I can to get out of debt. I figure, worst case, its 2 years of prison and I'm out!

Hey AWACer:
I take it you are Cactus Pilot?? Me too. THinking of taking the ELOA. Also thinking of China. Researched them all for at least a month now. Would be nice if I knew someone else going over. Would be great to sit down over a beer and discuss all with ya

Hey cactuscapt. I actually work for Air Wisconsin (AWAC). I will be going over to Kunpeng Airlines to fly the CRJ 200 or the EMB 190, whichever they need me in. Looks like you are thinking of the WAS INC/Shenzen Airlines offer of flying the Airbus, correct?
Both jobs are threw the same middle man, WAS INC. I already went over for the interview and I'm waiting on the call for training, so if you want some more information about the process, I can help you. Don't have any first hand information on how it is to actually work over there though.
Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you want to discuss.

don't trust them
wasinc cannot be trusted further than you can see them. warning warning warning.... there are other agencies out there that won't try to steal from you. do your homework before you get locked in. once you sign on in china you can't switch to another agency or carrier without paying a huge fine, bribes, and all sorts of other under the table stuff. go hangout in shenzhen for a while and sooner or later you will bump into a pilot who has been burned by wasinc.
