Well I for one am glad to see this thread come alive again! It went almost a week with no posts! Talon, good luck, I did my medical in Tokyo, but not sure what dif that may or not have made.

Hear is my experience so far. I Interviewed mid November, did medical in Tokyo. Passed everything and CReW notified me 1st week of January that I cleared the medical. Week later they told me that I am officially in the pool.
Now 3 months later I am still in the pool.
A friend of mine interviewed 4 days prior to me and he also passed everything but was informed in mid February that overall he was not successfully ( I guess passed with low score ). So no news is good news -I guess.

The applicant who did his medical together with me in Tokyo was offered AirJapan for May but he recently declined the offer. Thats why there was a late opening for May class 2 weeks ago.

I interviewed in mid-Jan and did the medical in ANC. I had to do a couple of medical re-checks and was notified on Mar. 30 that I was cleared into the pool. I am hopeful for the July class. Being Mr. Mom is hard work.

Interviewed last week in February, did the physical in Anchorage the first week in March and got the word Friday that I was indeed healthy enough to be considered. Now just treading water and waiting for the phone to ring!

I went to Japan this month and I really liked it over there. This type of gig would be right up my ally if I could talk the wife into it. I would want live there though. However, I was messed up for almost a week from the time change. I don't see how you guys do it every month. Good luck to everyone playing the waiting game.

Messed up for week?? Dang...sounds like you didnt eat enough sushi or drink enough beer the first night!

Ok everyone, now you have me worried. Interviewed first week of March, told to send in update flight times and have not heard anything yet. Crap I would just like to know I passed the medical and that I am not crazy.

Do they call you or email? Do know which I should fear more.

always flying, I interviewed and did the medical last week of February and I'm also still waiting to find out if I passed the medical. Over 9 weeks now. We should be notified by e-mail when we get the medical clearance. Everyone says that no news is good news on the medical, though it does seem like the process is moving a bit slower than it has in the recent past.

No news is good news. I interviewed and did my medical the second week of October. I had to redo a part of the medical in mid November and did not hear anything until late February when I was offered the May class.

Everyone I know that was hired got a call. It can be a long process with little or no contact. The saying no news is good news kind of applies. I had to redo an eye test about 3 weeks after the interview. Other than that I did not hear from them until I got the thumbs up.
