What is the lowest time yall have seen hired on with this ANA / JP Express / Air Japan job? I've got 3100 total, 250 PIC Turb, almost all CRJ time. I applied but haven't heard back. Am I dreaming?

I think these days if all you have is CRJ time you will have a tough time, especially with that low PIC time.

I got hired with RJ time (8k tt and 4+ k TPIC ). I am not aware of any others in the previous class, my class or the class after me that had only RJ time. Most are Airbus, 767 or 737 drivers. I would say that most have a lot more TPIC time as well.
Good luck

Hi guys,
A quick question. I submitted my application to Crew a week ago, when the job got posted on Climbto350. I would like to follow up with a phone call but I don't know if they are ok with that or if that would kill my application?

Thanks to all you for your great postings.

You can call, but the last time I called the message said something about if you have applied they will contact you. I think though that if you get through it wont hurt your chances....my belief is they like to see guys that want it bad enough to go the extra mile. Could be wrong tho....I think they have a lot more apps on file than when I started the process.

good luck

I don't know Yeager08 if that will benefit or hurt you but this is my opinion on the matter. In case that you do get to speak with a carbon based entity it all depends on how you come across, if you come across as interested and eager to help in any way and exited about the prospect then I don't see how that can hurt you but if you come across demanding and looking for favoritism it might actually work against you, the number of applicants is very high and they have a few swimming on a pool right now but if you want to do something that will make you to be noticed within the crowd as long as you apply tact, What do you have to loose?

myoface..when did you start the process? and how far into the process are you? interview or hired already?

Dominican. Thanks for your opinion. I agree with you on how you come across is the biggest thing but I didn't want to bust some "don't-bug-us-on-the-phone" company policy.
According to Crew's posting, there are only 12 seats available. I wonder how many applicants.
How long have you worked for them??

I put my app in around the first of the year. I am in class now. The 12 seats thing is a bit of a misnomer I think....AJX and AJV are hiring 4 people each every 2 months, a total of 48 per year. I dont know if there is a quota for each contract agency (CReW and PARC) or not, but rest assured they have plenty of applications. I called and bugged Crew when I put my app in, but I also had someone working there that was helping me, and like I said, a lot less applicants I am assuming. Dominican is with PARC I believe, not sure how they do things over there.

good luck
