myoface,

thanks for the info. Good luck on your training. I wish I was there. By the way, what was your background? 121/135/91?

Have a good one.

well, I'm gonna give CRew a call on Monday and hopefully I'll get a person.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Take care,
Y.

Dominican. Thanks for your opinion. I agree with you on how you come across is the biggest thing but I didn't want to bust some "don't-bug-us-on-the-phone" company policy.
According to Crew's posting, there are only 12 seats available. I wonder how many applicants.
How long have you worked for them??
Hi Yeager08

I've been here 2 1/2 years, and as Myo said I am with PARC. I wouldn't worry about "busting a company policy" related to the contractors because they are not the company, they are head hunters. It would also be easy to assume that they have their "finger in the pulse" and that they are insiders, when they are really not. But they are the gateway

Good luck

You also have to realize that each contractor want to get as many guys on their team as possible since that is how they get paid. I have heard ( I am not advocating this just take it for what it is worth...third hand info) that some guys will apply with one and then try calling. If they dont get a response, they call and say that they are going to call the other....all of a sudden they start getting phone calls returned.

good luck

Are you still enjoying it after 2 1/2 years? as you said, they are just the gateway, so you still don't want to **** them off, since they have so many apps right now. They can afford to be picky.

myoface,

so what do you think of applying with both contractors (CRew and PARC)? A few days ago I sent my info to PARC as well. As you can see, I really want a shot at this gig.
I don't know if playing them against each other would be something I'd do right now. Maybe later on when the desperation level has reached new heights.

Dominican,

I got the paperwork from PARC.
One of the things it mentions is that "the remuneration package is being reviewed." Any light you can shine on that matter? Are they gonna make pay cuts?
Also, how is the medical insurance? I have a family with 2 children and medical is something I need to look into extra careful.

thanks.

Isn't it true that Parc has bad insurance if you are a US guy with a family? I think they only cover the pilot. I went with Crew because they are a US company and from what I have head they have excellent insurance for the whole family.
