Random question for you guys: how do you like flying around Japan and Asia vs. flying domestically in the US? What are the pros and cons flying in Japan (or around Asia) vs. flying in the US?

Just curious. Thanks

True, but only because pilots here haven't allowed disrespect.

We are the ones that have messed up our industry, nobody else

Not on this phone. CReW recruiter says we should hear about the November class by mid September.

Patience is a virtue....good thing!

What do I like? Maintenance on the aircraft is spectacular. I have not have one cancellation since I have been here and only one significant delay. Customer service is still very important here and it show. It is really amazing how many employees this place has. Each check-in area has 2 guys who's only job is to place the tags on the bag and lay your bag on the belt so you don't have to do it. Every aircraft has at least one mechanic that is always with the airplane when it is on the ground. If you have a problem, he is right there and it gets fixed right away. You never wait for anything and seeing employees run to get things done faster is a normal every day thing, not an exception.

What do I not like? China ATC

JP Express is the name of the cargo side of things and has various share holders. Japan Post is one of the major shareholders. They (Japan Post) are selling their stake in the company to ANA. Guys that know more than me seem to think this is not really a bad thing, but I suppose time will tell.

Are you interviewing for just AJV or either AJX or V? The management folks here that I have talked to acknowledge that things are difficult, but they seem committed to the two companies and the growth in the future. Again, time will tell, but I can tell you that they treat us very well and I am happy to be here.

Good luck,
face
