Just curious if the Americans that go to work for Emirates....

Do they actually upgrade or do they sit right seat forever while UAE citizens hold all the captain jobs?

No, that's not true. EK does upgrade F/O's, but it sure as hell doesn't do it by seniority or any other recognizable orderly system.

Upgrades Will be done by any which way we choose.
At any time we choose.
Due to the present commercial needs of the company .........
as we choose!!!

No matter what the policy in the FOM states.

Does that help to explain the mentality here?
