Default TACA info?

I'm new to this forum. I was just wondering if anyone on here works for TACA or has information on what the requirements are. PM me with any information that you do not want public. I'm getting furloughed and for personal reasons TACA would actually be a good fit for me.

Thanks in advance.

I worked as a training captain for one of their regional operations down there and I can say that at the time they would not have hired me had I not been doing training and checking. Perhaps that has changed. I would assume that you would be required to speak Spanish, but perhaps not.

I'd just call the chief pilot in El Salvador on the phone. If you are typed on the bus then maybe it would work. Best to get that one from the mouth of the horse.

Good luck with it.

Hey Koru... was Ben Arcy the chief "commedante" pilot when you were there? Very colorful character to say the least. I was a contract check airman/instructor on the 737 for TACA in 94 and 95. Had a great time!
