Default Have any pilots on here from the US ever Jumpseated in India

Wanting to see if anybody has any experience using Jump seat or "Crew Ticket" Privileges in India using their US based Crew badge.

IE: Fly to Bombay (now Mumbai) and fly to New Delhi via Kingfisher or Jet airways on a Jump seat type pass with no ID 90 / Zed

Jumpseating for free is exclusively a United States thing (perhaps Canada too?). At least that's my understanding. Even just non-revving for free is limited to a few airlines in the US.

I've been over here almost two years and I've never seen it done. It certainly wouldn't be a routine thing ... might be best to just find a cheap ticket to where you want to go. Goa might be a problem this time of year, though.

Certain airlines will let you in the cockpit if you have a non rev ticket and the cabin is full. This is at the captains discretion. I know of Air France having done it. I was put in the FA jump seat once by the captain on an SAS flight. Thought that was strange since I'm not an FA.
Anyway. It may work if you have a ticket.
