Default Virgin Nigeria

Hey I'm a future furloughee from Mesa Airlines and I'm curious about Virgin Nigeria. I don't want this thread to turn into the conditions of Nigeria. I just want to know if anybody knows what the company is like and the schedule and pay and all that fun stuff. I've tried doing searches and I can't seem to find anything on them. I am currently filing out the application that they had on their website but details are scarce. Thanks...

I met a guy (ex-DAL) retired who flew for them, 767-3 Captain. He commuted to London-Gatwick to fly his monthly sked. Mostly LGW-Lagos-Johannesburg. He just left VirgNigeria and went to KAL on the B-777.

Don't know much about them. I know around last February they were hiring guys with 300TT onto the 737 (they paid for your type, 5 year bond) and E190-170s that they were getting, which are brand new.

try pprune.org They will have info on them surely. Look in the African Aviation section.

FWIW CRJPilot, I did 7 years @ Mesa, and it was a bad place to be. If you didn't care about anything it was tolerable, but if you were concerned for the safe and efficient operation, days off, contract compliance. . . Well, I'm sure you've heard the stories.
