Default Non-rev / Jumpseat to Chile

I tried a search on this but came up with nothing. I'm interested in traveling to Chile (Iquique - IQQ) next month and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. I work for a US 121 CASS carrier and was wondering what the jumpseat availability or requirements were. I assume I'd have to go through Santiago or possibly LaPaz, Bolivia. Does LAN Chile allow jumpseaters? Any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I find it hard to believe that nobody has ever done this before. Does anyone know if FedEx or UPS or one of the other charter companies fly in to Santiago maybe? Any tips or cautions are appreciated.

Thanks

CASS doesn't apply to international. AA flies MIA-SCL. Delta, ATL-SCL and LAN of course.
If you are on Delta's or AA's international jumpseat list you can fly down on them. On LAN you will need a ZED ticket from your airline. I have never seen/heard UPS or Fed Ex down there but that doesn't mean they don't operate there.
Hope that helps.

Flyer 2000

Unless things have changed recently I don't think that's true. They wont let you in the cockpit but there are seats forward of the cargo compartment used for jumpseaters. I have friends that have traveled on Fed Ex internationally for many years.

Kalitta does MIA-SCL every couple days. Check kalittaair.com for the schedule.

Never thought of using them, thanks! That might be the way to go.
