Default Ryanair

Heard a talk show host tonight saying O'Leary of Ryanair is planning to start service from Stansted to the US next year with prices as low as $15 each way. Just waiting on a depressed price or lease of trans oceanic a/c. Comments??

While I agree with what someone once said about Clark Howard, "He knows the cost of a penny, but the value of nothing", the author of the following article must also be "clueless". I sure wouldn't want to be stuck on one of his airplanes for 7+ hours.

Ryanair 'to sell transatlantic seats for £10' - Telegraph

Let me guess, the TURN AROUND is 15 minutes for the pilots and crew??

An Airline I would never work for ...

Ryanair will not be using the 737 for this operation. Thus seats will probably recline, window will have shades, and yes the seats may even recline. It's amazing how the Legacy carriers scoffed at Ryanair for charging for bags, and inflight food. Now look who is following suit. At least Ryanair is not chincy like some carriers for charging passengers extra money to sit by the emergency exit row... now that's really cheesy.

While Ryanair may not be the first choice for most, it does provide reliable, and affordable travel.

Thus if people buy tickets on Ryanair's transatlantic flights, the airline will survive, if not well they will just remain an EU carrier, and that's that.

They do... REPA, even though they are quite fragmented, and not recognized by the labour courts in Ireland, UK, or the rest of the EU.
