Default Quickjet India

I've been contacted about Quickjet in Bangalore. Searches of the internet, APC/FLTINFO/PPRUNE have yielded almost nothing about them. There are press releases from 18 months ago talking about startup, but no updates.

Any info out there?

I had a young friend who was going to be "deputed" (my outfit loaning pilots) to them, I think. This was about a year ago. It was supposed to be a cargo outfit (and they actually had a Boeing all painted up). It never got started, and I haven't heard anything about them since late last spring. Who contacted you and what did they say?

It's "Aviation Personnel International" in Toronto. Advertised for 767-200 DEC.

I love India, but Bangalore is a complete sh!t hole. I'd rather fly skydivers in an old 182..

Completely agree with you about Bangalore. Just left there yesterday (from Aero India 2009). Nothing has changed since the last time I was there in 2007. I felt cleaner as soon as I left their Airspace!

I've been working with API for another job in India and got the same email from Capt. Bhattacharjee. See Quikjet for more info. API has treated me well but I haven't received the final offer yet.
