Hi!

Etihad-U need 1000 glass jet.

The contractors for the Japan 767 jobs are: CREW PARC and IAC.

My brother told me the best places to live in Asia were the Bangkok area, and Vietnam. He is into outdoor sports and adventure.

I know that some of the contracts call for as little as 100 hours on type.

With your experience, I would NOT go to Dana Air.

I WOULD go, but my types are DA-20 and DC-9-so we're in a different boat.

Cliff,

If you want to fly for Dana Air give a call down to Aeroservice (Miami) and ask for Steven he is the contact man..and I think they are running a Full Type course (Africa or at least Nigeria requires a full course) I did hear three Midex guys walk away in school--but wih your DC9 time I think you should be able to swing it....

I am looking at the Asia and the Middle East.

Thanks!

Cliff - did you work for USA Jet? I used to work at Willow Run, I knew a lot of people there, including Active Aero, who I believe is where USA Jet started.

I just applied to KAL via GAP Aviation, but I am not really keen on spending money for a A330 type.

Qatar is becoming my first choice!

Keep the advice coming!
That seems to be going around, but I wonder since no one that is currently flying right now is about to leave their job, just wouldnt make sense in this mess, at what point does the entire pool (so to speak) of the out on the street pilots fit into this category. sooner or later the only current pilots will be the ones employed...my head is spinning over the last 12 months of 121 aviation..

Also, i know its a step back for a lot of guys but are these leasing companies only hiring ex pats for the left seat, I have yet to see any of them advertising for right seaters, am I missing somthing here, I would assume mabye because these contries have plenty of their own people to fill the right seat but no qualified individuals for the left...any ideas, I dont have enough hours for an ATP yet...sigh

Trying to fiqure out the best Pilot Recruitment company, which ones to stay away from-where to look (I know google yes..) any hints or suggestions.

Was offerd a job at Dana Air on the MD-80 for DEC. not sure if Africa is where I want to go JUST YET.

Comments, suggestions....?

Thanks!

I would agree with the others that said Air Japan (ANA). Sounds like you are perfect for the job with all your type's. Japan is great I lived there for a year, and its a great place (Tokyo). Have fun if you do it!

I on the other hand have been furloughed 4 times with no types to show for it... sorry to hear about your trouble, but I wish I had half of your types!
Good luck my friend, but I doubt you need it!
