Default 170/175/190 type rated?

Anybody on here with a 170/175/190 type rating and 500 hours PIC on type and wanting to work in India, shoot me a PM. I can get you in touch with a recruiter over there who is recruiting for India, China, and the Middle east. The captain jobs are six figures, and 90 days off a year. Shoot me your resume with your PM if interested.

90 days off a year = 7-8 days/ month!? That's horrible...why would anyone want to move halfway around the world to get abused like that? Not sure the extra pay would be worth being treated like a dog. Unless that's vacation time and other days off are also included....then it would be a golden deal.

From what I understand it's 90 days of vacation/sick leave a year. I'm just putting information out for people interested. That's it and that's all.

I should also specify that you don't necessarily have to be current to apply.

I can't believe someone would actually complain about this! They're willing to pay you a fortune compared to what you would make in the States flying the same thing, and all anyone can think to post is a complaint about the schedule??? If I had this type and the time I'd jump on an opportunity like this. Suffer with the schedule for a couple of years, come back here, and do anything you want in aviation. If you want to spend the rest of your career towing banners, you can make a living. Some people just want everything, I guess. Thanks for the info on the job opportunity - lets hope there's more like this in the future.

Wheresmyplane,

Thanks for the backup. I'm just putting info out there trying to help out other pilots looking for an opportunity. I don't know if anything will come of it, but it doesn't hurt to at least try. I don't have the type or anything like that, but I'm willing to help out anyone I can in these tough times.
If any of the moderators are watching, I really would like only positive feedback on this and not any negative nancies.

Sorry to hear about the furlough capto. I myself have been on furlough since the end of August. Not fun, but I at least have a job right now so I can't complain. Best of luck to you.
As far as the overseas stuff, my contact told me that especially in China and India companies are looking at the E-jet more and more.

Hey guys,

My contact just told me he has a company looking for pilots fast, so if you're serious let me know. I'm working on getting forms from him to send out to interested parties.
