Job App QRH

1. Is CL65 on your pilot certficate?

if no, look elsewhere for job
if yes, go to step 2

2. Do I know you?

if no, send your app to the folks I referenced... not me
if yes, you know what to do

END OF PROCEDURE

I'm soon to be a Mesaba CRJ 900 FO furlough in September. Dual citizenship (US-Brazil), flew and lived in a third world country, altough not as bad as some African nations. This looks like the best option now.

Was a PSA FO on the 200 now waiting for my new cert that says CL65 SIC Type. How often do these jobs over there open up, i'd love to do somthing like this. Former Marine, was in Djibouti for a year, so would not mind going again. Thanks!

Tony,

I'm a former Comair guy. I'm offended! LOL....We've said hello but never actually chatted or done formal intro's. I only know who you are because I've seen your picture on these forums and then seen you in OCC a couple times and out on the GAT ramp.

I didn't know we were hiring more CRJ900 FO's? Do we have some recent deserters, or am I getting fired?

*Also, I understood that 3000hrs. was the min. total time req'd for the top pay tier. I could be wrong, but I highly doubt it.

Do they care about the circling restriction on the type?

Nice pictures. The kids are really cute! Funny, I was just talking to a guy from Nigeria today. He suggested that I look into Arik Air. He works for Virgin Nigeria. He said that Virgin was hiring people into Embraers and 737NGs with as little as a type rating (no mins). He said that if I got my own type, Virgin would repay me after I got hired. Does Arik Air do anything like that? I am a CFI with almost 1400 hrs and 450 multi...

Yes, Arik may take people off the street with just a type in the B737. Virgin Nigeria has to change their name in the next month, and it's anybody's guess how long they'll be around.

If you have the type now, and want to work here, apply to both.
