Just like it says in the title. We're hiring 3 CRJ FO's.
You must be rated with CL65. Recurrent training and differences training (if applicable) paid by employer. $3500 to $5500 monthly salary. All expenses paid.
If I know you, and you're rated in the CRJ series (doesn't have to be a -900 that you've flown), contact me directly. We can put you to work muy pronto.
Please don't email me with the usual naievety about Africa. If you think it's dangerous, blah, blah,... I recommend not going.
No. I worked at SkyWest, last based in SLC. We have at least 4 pilots who worked at Air Wisconsin, and several from Pinnacle. Don't know anybody from Comair, but that doesn't mean there isn't
>>>>r u currently working for arik air <<<<<
Yes, I'm currently in Lagos, Nigeria.
>>>>>and if so how is it(qol, pay, schedule, commuting possible<<<<<
Work schedule is 56 days here, 28 days at home. The company does pay for your round trip airfare. I fly home on Delta through ATL.
I posted the pay, $3500 to $5500, based on your hours. Above 3500 hours is the highest rate.
The schedule... roster... is typically 4-5 days flying the line, and 1 day on reserve (standby in the hotel). Airline pays all living expenses, medical, food, drinks (except alcohol). Roster is posted about a week out for CRJ fleet. They are lucky to get a 24 hour notice on the B737 fleet.
I will add that if you've never been out of the US to a real third world country, this may overwhelm you. You very likely will get malaria (I have). You will get food poisoning occasionally. There is not a single fast food joint, no US style shopping malls, and no mommy to hold your hand.

You said it brother, tough going to cut your intl teeth out of Lagos, AND, those Nigerian controllers will kill you, seirously. You are on your own there, high altitude, high speed vfr is what that is. I see it often and sometimes it is not so fun, but it is an experience unlike many others.

Good points. I forgot to mention... THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IS NON-RADAR. ATC is absolute madness. Really. You will occassionally arrive over an airport in the Flight Levels because you could not get 2 way radio contact with the next FIR. Your RJ, like every airliner in Nigeria, has HF radios (great for BBC radio).
We tanker grotesque amounts of gas. Why? Unlike the comfy US, there's not an airport every 5 minutes of flying time. And sometimes the airport you go to doesn't have fuel.
TCAS is you friend. Pilots intentionally LIE about their positions to get to the runway first. It's difficult to understand the "aviation english". You pass ALL your basic flight plan info with every new facility.
Outside of Nigeria, we currently fly to Ghana and soon to Senegal (Dakar... about 1350nm) with the CRJ.

And weather. You are 5 to 10 degrees north of the equator. The recent AF447 crash into a line of thunderstorms was 4 degrees north. You'll dodge TS/CB's every day. Big ones.
Of course, no icing, no real winds aloft, no jet stream, no snow, no hail, freezing rain/drizzle, etc.
Hi, I am very interested in the FO position. I would like to PM you, but since I am a new user, the system doesn't allow me so. Can I send my info differently? Thanks in advance.
