Rotor,

Just curious why you would not come near this one? Do you have any first hand knowledge of Jet? Where did you hear that Jet wants expats off property by June 2010 because ther is no DGCA ruling as of yet.

Talked to Capt Gracious yesterday (chief pilot) said we are 28 captains short due to growth and a couple of locals leaving and going to Oman. I am expat over here and have nothing but good things to say about the people and the company.

Hey things are tuff out there and we are hiring and unless you have first hand info Jet then why not stick your toe in and test the water and give it a try, that is, if you meet the minimum qualifications.

Cheers,

cargo

Actually, I worked for Brand X over there for two years. There was little or no labor strife then, at least at that company. I'd be very uncomfortable as an expat in the middle of a local labor "situation", which is what I was referring to. If you're happy, though, great.

When I left DGCA was still holding to the June of 2010 date. My FATA was renewed, but that only went to April of 2010. If the policy has changed let us know.

Rotor,

As far as the 'policy' changing I cannot comment but my FATA is good until Sept '10. I talked to the Jet DO this morning and was told that Jet is going to upgrade about 45 B737 Cappy's onto the A330 and that we (expats) were good for at least 2 more years at Jet.

Also know that need 28 737 drivers NOW! New class of 6 starting Sunday. Looking at short term contracts of as short as 6 months until things settle down.

Thas it for now any questions about Jet let me know cause I happy to help.

Cheers,

cargo
