You are not counting the fact that after you get certified by the JCAB on your line check, you will fly on the right seat with another captain until you get route checked on Skymark's route structure, this takes another couple months

Sorry, 2012. Typo.
Dominican, that's not what's in our training syllabus. It states: 6-10 legs observation; 6-10 legs right seat OJT plus 2 leg company check; 2 hrs. LOFT sim; 30-46 legs CA OJT plus 2 leg JCAB check; then another 2 hrs. CRM/LOFT sim.
A big part of failure is attitude. Then visual/circling approaches, non-standard callouts, then knowledge. You can muddle through a lot of things, but you can't fix stupid or @sshole and their has to be a point where you can't fix circling approaches. They do a lot of those here and in Asia in general.

Sorry if I posted erroneous info, that is what I understood from friend that are at SKY, they stated that after the official line check you had to ride on the right seat until you were checked in all the airports they operate in.
Over at AJX you have to ride on the right seat into every airport the first time you go, that is why it sounded correct when they said it.
