Default NetJets Hawker 4000 status?

Anybody have any information on the delivery status of the Hawker 4000 for NetJets? They have 50 on order, and I guess they were flying one around, kind of 'trying it out' before comiting to it.

NetJets hasn't started flying one around yet. There is at least one in NJA colors and tail sign. I have been on N15QS and talked to the test pilots and the rep for it. This was back around Xmas and they said NJA was getting it aroud April, but things have changed and they cancelled the pilot class bid for it. The last I heard they are hoping to get one this year to kick the tires on in November or so, but who knows what will happen. The airplane performs like a beast (the test pilots said they have tested it to 4000 pounds over max gross without a problem and that the certified max gross is now going up), but I guess the avionics still don't work as avertised and NJA doesn't want to mess with it until the glitches are a bit more worked out.

I saw that particular aircraft at NBAA this year...as JTF560 said, there are still alot of problems with it. I wonder if they will ever get them straightened out.

Should have kept the ProLine 21 suite that the 800XP-C pilots love so much.................. The new avionics can't be that much better. Why change a good thing? Leave it to the engineers.

Agree 100%. Don't fix what's not broken. Also, yesterday NetJets Europe put in an order for 32 of these beasts
