Are there very many pilots that have been in the regionals or majors that have gotten tired of commuting etc to work at Planesense? Or is it mostly younger pilots building time?

We have had a a fair amount of ex airline. Mostly from the regionals I think. We have pilots from the whole spectrum of previous career experience.

That's great. Nice to have a diverse pilot group.

I didn't commute to an airline, but I did commute 2 hrs one way to 135 job - defeated the purpose of being home most nights. This is now a 1 hr commute, 4 times a month. Much better for QoL.

When the company is required to airline you, is there a preferred airline they tend to use more than others, or is it pretty much whatever is the cheapest?

Cheapest. You'll rack up hotel points way faster than airline miles.
