Contract for an FO is 18 months at 12K (Not 100% sure on the price). Depends on the total time. I interviewed with 508 hours. Started with around 900. It's a an OK company. We are having a problem keeping captains around because they are going to work somewhere else. I would never think about upgrading here.
Problems with the company? Why wouldn't you upgrade?

You can get any base you want. You might just fly less than a PSM based pilot would. This being said is because you will airline more to a plane. There is no bidding for a base here or a seniority list for a base. PSM guy's seem to hold a grudge against us remote based pilots because they are always flying more.

So what are you doing on the 8 days that you are on? Sitting in a hotel room or at home base waiting to get called for a trip?

You will get paired with a captain and a plane. If your start day and their start day matches up, you will airline or drive to the plane on day 1, and then either fly trips or wait in a hotel. If your captain's start and your start do not match up, you may end up at home on standby. We are consolidating start days so that may be a different case 6 months from now.
