I ran some people from the east coast to Columbus ohio for a ball game. As we were taking off a hawker 800 was taxing to the runway. He landed 30 minutes ahead of us, woulda been less but ATC dropped us to let him over the top. We flew 2.5 he flew 2.0 all to move the same size cabin the same distance and his owner spent well over 4 times the money to do it.

It is undeniable that Avantair has tapped into a great niche that could continue to grow for a long time. It provides jet-like performance and, in many cases, more comfort for a lower cost than all of the other fractionals. The market is inherently bigger - more people can afford cheaper fractions than more expensive fractions. No other fractional is planning to offer a competitive product at the same or lower price point - unless it somehow buys Avantis. So long as Avantair can maintain its financial viability, this company should be a great employer.
And, as a pilot you get to fly some nice equipment on a super-wide variety of routes/layovers from many different domiciles. Sounds like a great deal to me. And those Embraer Phenom 100s look like they will be fun to fly too when they eventually get on the line. I would say growth prospects at Avantair look a lot better than at the other fractionals if you want to get to the left seat of a high performance aircraft sooner than later...
