Alpha is currently not hiring and last I heard will not be hiring anytime in the near future. My guess would be next fall, but just a guess.

We just expanded our territory into Texas and Oklahoma and I would guess that when we do start hiring again, they will want to get some more crews in Atlanta.

The Grob - I have no clue. Grob filed for full insolvency a couple weeks ago and as far as whats gonna happen with them and our jets, your guess is as good as mine.

7/7 - expect to be gone all 7 days. I guess the PSM guys do get some day trips mixed in, but us PDK guys are typically called out for the majority of the 7 days.
On days off, a lot of people have part time flying jobs. I personally have not been able to find anything that would work with my schedule, so I get a lot of work done around the house and get to sleep in quite a bit.
How many PC12NGs do you currently operate and how many will you get next year? Are all the crews going to be cross-qualified? That's a nice flightdeck.

I update the ol' resume every hundred or two hundred hours. I applied just after they stopped hiring. Because of the huge slowdown though and unless they get some big growth I would imagine upgrades would really slow down below their historical norm there just like everywhere else.

Unfortunately I am getting to a point where I may not be able to make the jump there if I can see myself logging that all important single engine SIC for a year or more. A good outfit though that I would love to work for considering their schedules and being under ten miles from my house. I guess we will see what happens. I dropped by there today doing some work in a 414 and cleared at B right across from their operation, they had a few taxiing out to make some money. There was one in a non standard blue and white alpha paint scheme, the same but different. I wonder if it was a NG or something?

We have 2 NG's right now. I'm not sure how many crews we have trained up so far but I think the plan was to have everybody trained up in a year or so. And I think we are getting 8 or 9 next year. I got checked out last month and have flown it for 1 cycle so far. The Apex is nice although Honeywell has a few issues to work on, but after those bugs are worked out, it will be a great system.

Sgt. I think our maintenance department works on a customer PC-12 that has a paint scheme close to ours.

Any updates on the AlphaFlying front? Just curious what they were looking for previously in terms of competitive hiring mins. Somebody said no hiring until mid to late next year?

Liking what I fly has nothing to do with QOL and pay.

We have hired directly into the left seat, but it's not an option that the company exercises often. We have often hired very (overly?) qualified people into the right seat, but with a quick upgrade.

By the way, if you are PIC on a -12 now, why the interest in AF?
