Default NetJets Europe

Does anyone know if NetJets Europe hires Americans and if you have to have your ATPL to work there. Thanks.

European ATP, European Passport, European Medical and obviously the right to work in Europe. It takes time and money to accomplish all....

Money?!? You can't buy a EU passport / right to work. Unless you find a woman willing to marry you for money! :-)

Just because I'm curious, and married to a German, does Net Jets allow employees to transfer to Net Jets Europe if they get their JAA or E ATPL?

There are no transfer provisions between NJA and NJE that I am aware of.

If you are going to pursue an EU ATPL one day I would suggest starting that about 1 year in advance. I have friends that did it full time in about 6 months, without working. Others took about a year doing it part time. Sucks, but you have to do all the written exams and flight test. There are some designated schools on the states side that are available for EU/JAA ATPL's.

The worst part about all this is that you don't even have a job waiting for you. You can convert everything to European, but just because you hold an European ATPL, passport, and medical, it doesn't mean you have a job there. Still have to apply, be lucky enough to get the chance to interview, and pass the interview. Every now and then I think about, but......
