Default Supersonic Business Jet News

I'm hearing NetJets has already put down deposits on a number of these yet-to-be-built aircraft. Here's a link to one of the news stories.

I wish I could get companies to give me suitcases full of money for products I haven't even built a prototype for.

Santulli would order a bunch of those things (if they're ever built). There is no way in hell he would let someone else be the launch carrier for a supersonic biz-jet. No way. One thing I've noticed in my three years at NJ is that he likes to be first, which is a good thing by the way.

Spoke with an guy who's owned Globals, falcon's and and helicopter's. His idea was these airplanes would carry a price tag even the high roller's could not justify.

The first A380 corporate aircraft has already been sold. Dozens of BBJs, A319 Corporate, and other large aircraft are already being widely used as corporate aircraft.

You can rest assured that there will be a market, limited though it might be. You're familiar with Lakshmi Mittal, the wealthy Indian? The wedding party he threw his daughter is rumored to have cost around 60 million dollars for a one-week event. There are people in this world for whom money truly is NO object.

Think of how crazy the idea would have been in '82 of someone buying a $50 million G-550 or $300 million dollar A-380? Plenty of rich mofo's & country's won't even blink at a hun-red million for an SSBJ.
