Default Flex Jet Call Back

For those who have sent a reume to Flex Jet..... How long from the time the resume is sent, do they typically call you? I sent one on the 21st, and heard nothing. I sent one to Net Jets at the same time and they sent me an application within 5 days. Thanks for any input on this.

Did you fill out Netjets? Have you heard back from them if you did?

I did send in NetJet App a little less than a week ago. Hopefully it works out well. I guess two weeks is the average on the NetJets stuff.

Fo for life,
My buddy sent a resume to Flex and they called him the next day. His interview is next week. He has been a regional Capt. for about 2 yrs. to give you an idea.

I've met a few 4th year FOs recently that would disagree with that assessment.

I finally found someone to walk my resume in and now I have an interview on Tuesday. They told me three years over the phone for the upgrade. I figured I would go check it out with an open mind. Flex is a second choice to NJA, who is really dragging there feat. A friend if mine at NJA called HR and talked to someone who said they were working on my app and it was in the "interview pending" stage. We'll see what happens. The next question would be.... will life be better at Flex than at AE. I know NJA would be better, but I am on the fence about Flex.

Hey FO4Life,

How long have you been at Eagle? I'm an ex-Eagle FO and gave up on that place. I put a little over six years at that dump and exited about six months ago to take a break from flying.

I was just curious if it’s still all ****ed up there. Are the upgrades still forever? (I’m sure I know the answer to that) I think if you can get on with a fractional, life would be much better than Eagle IMHO. Some will say the grass isn't always greener, but it is if the grass you were on was dead brown. I think at least the opportunity prospects at fractionals tower in comparison to Eagle. Let’s face it, all those 20 and 30 year captains and the flushbacks aren't going anywhere. They will all retire at that ****hole place complaining.

Well enough for my rant. Thought I'd just chime in with some encouragement and congratulate you on getting out of that deep dark pit I call American Eagle or FO purgatory.

Good Luck.

I was hired at FLEX and just interviewed on 2 Feb at NJA. I would leave my current CRJ CA position to go work at either one. NJA is my first choice, but I will go to Flex if I dont get it. I will be better in 5 years at both companies than I would in 10 at my current airline. I just hope I get the "you're hired" call from NJA instead of the "thanks, but no thanks" one.
