Default Alpha Flying and Citation Shares

Can someone refer me to a link or tell me what the current pay scales are at Alpha Flying and Citation Shares? Got notified that my corp. job is ending soon. Based on where I live, my options seem to be Alpha or CS.

Working on resume now, which I haven't done for 11 yrs. WOW time flies. Plenty of TP and ME time.

I'm also new on the site. There is lots of info here. Great Site. Thanks for the info.

Citationshares pays considerably more than Alpha Flying. CS is also a national operation whereas AF primarily operates up and down the East Coast and some Midwest. Check out Avantair as well - it offers quite a few domiciles.

alpha is currently only hiring street captains with mins of 2000TT. Seeing as I'm sure you have a considerable amount more than that you would be selling yourself short with alpha. I have a friend who is a former alpha ca and current Avantair fo and he says they are run almost identically with twin vs single and pay being the difference. Citationshares should be your no. 1 but they are highly selective in their hiring. You would likely be a sure shot for alpha ca, a good shot for Avantair fo and a long shot for CS. As always, apply to all 3 and pray to the aviation gods. I have also looked at all 3 being that I live 6mi south east of KPSM. also consider linear air at KBED.

Hey USMC have you heard anything lately about Linear? I was under the impression they might not be doing so hot but that is second hand info, not sure if you know otherwise. How about any other 135 operators you may know of? I've seen a few of your posts, you seem to know about some of the operators in the area. I live close to KASH, looking for something local-ish, I'm currently a 121 FO but that might not last long, and thinking about switching anyway. Thanks!

Guys. Your info helped. I will check out Avantair, seen there planes around but didn't know who they were. Alpha Flying might work for me. CS is probably my best option if I can get on.

Thanks for the info on FracPilots. Looks like that site is working well. I liked the recent info on the listed companies.

What is the hiring process at CS? Should I do everything online or emails? Mail in Resume? Is there someone available to speak with about current openings, etc.

Does not look too bad for a turboprop. I would guess they would be looking for type rated pilots for direct entry CAs. I would imagine just for insurance purposes they would need you to have time in type? Can anyone confirm/deny that above? How long is training?

Some info from HR:

"Thank you for your interest in Alpha Flying, Inc! Your resume has been reviewed and we would like to invite you to complete the attached application package.

You are about to apply to the company that is the largest fleet operator of the Pilatus PC-12 in the world. Alpha Flying, Inc. has created a very successful niche in the fractional aviation business. Over the next 5 years, we will be adding 25 GROB spn corporate jets and will become the largest fleet purchaser of that aircraft. We operate in the Eastern US, Canada and the Bahamas. Once the Grob spn aircraft joins our fleet, we will be adding Bermuda as well.

Our pilots work a 7 day on/7 day off schedule. The starting salary as a First Officer is $27,000/year plus benefits and per diem. Upgrades to Captain are based on merit and usually take from 10 months to 14 months depending on the needs of the company. The starting salary for a Captain position is $38,000/year including benefits with an increase at 6 months and another increase after 12 months. A Captain starting his 3rd year starts at $53,000 with annual $4,000/year increases after that.

Alpha Flying, Inc. moved to our new state-of-the-art base in Portsmouth, NH in October 2007. We have remote bases in FXE & PDK. Our pilots must live within 2 hours of one of these locations. We currently manage 33 aircraft and are projecting to manage over 50 in the next three years. "

lol. Nope, not my site. I saw a guy clicking around on it the other day in the FBO and I liked what I saw. As for the riveting conversations, well, looks like their first post was on July 12, so I imagine it will take a little bit to get people to test the water.
