My phone interview was June 24th; still no news (that seems to be good news...) Was told I would hear something in 2-3 weeks; it's now been 5. Being very patient - that also seems to be the ticket!!

P.S. - CONGRATS to those who have also been very patient (but anxious??!!) and have received their offers!! I, too, am ready to get out of the 121 world - and hopefully be fellow employees of yours!

I also got an email this morning asking to reschedule my phone interview from August 8th to Sept. Wonder whats up.

To keep things in perspective, the company projections are for +/-400 pilots per year, BUT.....they have 1200+ applications on file that have LORs. Not to mention the thousands of other apps without LORs.

Hang in there. I got my stuff in same as you last November with several recs and nothing but crickets too. But I just got scheduled for a phone interview next month. I figured it was a lost cause. So many who applied months later than me were already hired. Getting that email out of the blue was a pleasant surprise! It's only step one but I'm hoping to make it all the way through.

I also did my phone interview in June on the 26th. Let me know when you get a reply. I have yet to hear anything also. I was given the 2 to 3 weeks for a reply info but nothing yet.

I applied in April 08 and I just have crickets! My friend at work applied at the same time and he got an interview request 2 days after the app was acknowledged! I get the feeling their prime profile applicant has around the 2500 hr mark and a few letters of rec. Ive got about 6000 and 3 letters of rec and got nothin. Wierd. Its good to hear they finaly got around to calling you. Thats encouraging. NetJets sounds like the best gig going right now. Im dieing for the chance to get in with them. Good luck!

I had the phone interview 20 June and got the email invite 30 July for a late Aug interview. They are a business and they have customers... rich customers. They want to make sure that you can provide a level of value to the customer. They are not in the back of the plane behind a wall and there are no baggage handlers....except you! All I'm saying is that they are fishing for an employee that can do the job AND keep the customers coming back. What process they use to make the decision... well who knows I'm only a Pilot. Despite what I get paid, I still have the best office view!!!

Congratulations on landing the trip to CMH T-1A. Glad to hear that somebody has heard back with good news after a phone interview. Let's see...you did your phone interview 24 days before mine, so maybe in another 3 weeks I'll get some good news too!

T1A, any word from the NJA folks on whether types in their planes help? Did you Hawker 400 type help you get that call? If they even said!

They didn't say that it helped but I think 1,000+ PIC in the 400 helped. Keep in mind I still have just the mins!
