Hoping the same. I'd love to be in class by March if everything works out ok

I just received the "not interested in you email". I have 6+ years at ASA 1000 121 PIC, 4000 total. What does it take to get at least a phone interview?

It pretty much takes at least one Letter of Recommendation and previous customer service skills. Some get the interview without the LOR, but I don't know how or why. Good luck.

Stylingolf, when did you apply? Cause they are dumping all the apps right now. If I were you I would re apply cause things are crazy there right now. It took me 10 months to get the phone interview that has been rescheduled twice now. I have 7000 total, 2500 jet pic 121, 4500 total jet, 3 types, 737 international time, charter, corporate, lor, and customer service and its comming up on a year since I first applied. And guys with way more experience than I have still have not heard anything, and there files are getting dumped out of the system. It makes no sense whatsoever. My phone interview is in oct now and still might get rescheduled. You have the time. Just re apply. It can't hurt. Just my two cents.

I interviewed June 10-11th, and got my standard rejection letter 2 and 1/2 months later (far too long in my opinion). I don't know of anybody in my interview group who did get hired. Hopefully some of them did get an offer. I wonder if this cleaning house at NJ has done some of us harm? Oh well, on to the next thing! Good luck to the rest of you.

Honestly in my opinion you need something that makes you stand out from every other 6+ year ASA pilot. ASA is a time building place and there isn't much customer service going on on the pilot front. You didn't post much else about yourself and I don't need to see your resume, but if all you have done is train and go work at ASA than you probably won't get an interview. Get some real customer service experience, it may seem silly but go get a part time job as a host at a 5 star restaurant for a few months, this will do more for your resume with NetJets than another 6 years at ASA. Also a LOR is a help. I could be way off but I didn't have much to start with.
