Default Flying out of PDK

A few more quick questions for AF pilots flying out of PDK. Can you describe your schedules on the 7/7? Are you as busy as the PSM/MHT based pilots or is your flying more laid back? Do you fly most of the 7 days per tour?

Also, are you primarily flying around the Southeast or do you get up to the Northeast and Midwest just as often? Is the flying increasing out of PDK?

PMs welcome too.

Alpha has been saying, "Grob Jet here next year" for the last five years. Yes, they are hiring. Yes, many very senior people have moved on... especially since they started hiring street Captains. There are people there with thousands of hours of flight time, that are not getting left seat. There is no contract, there is no "seniority" right to go to Captain. They can promote anybody they want, or bypass anybody they want.
Didn't want to fly the extra leg when too tired, or wouldn't come in and work while sick.... good luck every upgrading.
On the other hand... if your the kind that likes having somebody elses crap on your nose from having your head so far up their butt.... then you are exactly what they are looking for.

Now that's a slick looking cockpit for the new Pilatus PC12 NG. I hear the same avionics package will be used in the Grob jet for commonality/training purposes. That should make you job a bit easier...

How many of the NGs are on order again? Will they replace existing PC12s or be incremental?

Five screens and no map? Tell me that's not the normal configuration.
