they just hired David Siegel as CEO. He was not well liked at USAir and under his leadership (???) USAir went from bad to worse. Siegel then went to Gate Gourmet. It was reported that he treated the employees so poorly that British Airways terminated its contract with the company rather than continue to do business with him. TPG is the company that got him the slot at Gate Gourmet and his buddy Bonderman is reportedly the one that hired him for XO.
at USAir he said he would be there with the last dog standing... and then he took the money and ran. XO may be a good company but work for Siegel? I think NOT...

Nice....just applied online this morning, then i read he was first at Northwest...
Since I need a good job (furloughed United new-hire fool) can anyone shed light on the hire process? Or on scheduling?
Even a flying job with (maybe) hostile mgmt is better than attending monster.com job fairs, to see recruiters for collection agencies and temp. recruiters....it's real bad out there, folks. DO NOT leave your job for something like United or a new company. I took the risk, it blew up in my face.....my buddies at the regional are glad they stayed.
Not quite sure what the trick is over there. I applied last year, and have updated once a month, I know a guy there, still can't get a call. Pretty good competition out there right now. Maybe there will be more hiring once these challengers start rolling in!!!
Falconflyer,
What are they telling you about upgrade time in the X?
Would it be the same on the CL300?
The company is trying not to promise anything specific to avoid missing unreasonable expectations, but we will more than double in size next year if that helps...
