CitationShares now offers a Corporate Solutions Program that affords one the ability to do ad hoc flights.

we have done some flights were the customer called netjets for a one time charter and then netjets sent the customer to ejm, which is the charter side for eja.

Exec Jet has EJM I am sure that they can hold out and sell charters.

The BBJs end up doing a lot of charter since they have few, if any, owners. EJM arranged the charter. The BBJs are technically operated by NetJets Large Aircraft division- a division that is getting closed down and the airplanes are going away in early 2010. As it is now, I believe NJA is not allowed to do individual charters in customer owned airplanes. They can do all the Marquis card stuff they want- within the limits of the cards they are allowed to sell. I believe management wants to keep NetJets as a more "exclusive" kind of club without the individual charters. That is what RS wanted and I think this is probably the best way to keep the current customers happy and in the program. I wouldn't be surprised if NetJets comes up with some new company (or rebrands part of EJM) that does charter with the now huge amount of unoccupied fleet NJA has. EJM is doing great while NJA is getting hammered so I would think they could take some of the unused aircraft into their core fleet and continue expanding. While this may be good for the company overall, I don't see them bringing the pilots with the airplanes if they do this. There will probably still have to be quite a few NJA pilots getting furloughed.

Anyone know or estimated just how much of the NJ fleet is in storage, and is there one main airport where they are moved to? You see quite a few 'parked' at the major bizhubs that look like them haven't moved recently

I don't think any are currently in storage. Some have been taken off line and repainted to sell, but usually not more than a few at a time to keep the market from tanking any more. The airplanes all fly from time to time. There are definitely more sitting around in CMH, LUK, and HPN than normal, but none in storage yet. If management decides to park a fleet, I'm sure that will change, but they haven't made that decision yet (other than the BBJ that have expiring leases in early 2010).
