Unhappy

Good luck to those involved in this reduction in force. I have run out of optimistic things to say in these situations. Good luck to us all.

Terrible news. Beyond the Encore and BBJ fleets, anyone know whether specific fleets will be impacted (sidelined) or whether aircraft from all fleets will be impacted? Or is it too early to tell?

I hope these projections don't come to fruition as the economy starts to improve...

Sorry but he is correct. YOU know how BS most medicals are to pass. These people have had their time. Let others have a chance to make a living.

Sorry to hear about the news. This will be affecting a lot of people I know. Thoughts and prayers.

As of now, DAL/NWA have no pilots on involutary furlough. Those still on the street bypassed recall.

Once again, God Bless all those affected by this news. So sad.

.
I'm with you on that, some guys forgot what the notion of retirement is.... I commented on this last year and got beat up...

I know 3 guys with young families affected by this, one guy (good friend and neighbor) just had a baby, his third child, his last rotation starts on December 25th ... flew with a 64 year old captain last month, he said " I'm going to give it 3 more years and see how I feel".

I know I'm going to get flamed for this post, but that's OK
