Do companies like NJ or CS approve outside flying like flight instruction?

Yes. NJ does have non compete clauses but instructing is no problem.

Flexjet also permits it, as long as you don't mess up rest or flight time rules.

Flight Options allows it as well, just watch out for flight times and no flying for the 24 hours preceding on duty.
