Hey texasflyer50,
There is no standard gauge for the tech as it is made up on the interview day.
Pretty practical stuff as a whole though. We fly into and out of uncontrolled fields at night, in crap weather, non-radar, sometimes international for a twist! If you can talk the turkey about how you will arrive and depart in the aforementioned scenario and a) know how to not hit the mountains b) know how to not get violated and c) where you find the information you based your planning on... You'll ace the interview. We'll teach you our specific stuff but you've gotta be a STRONG ifr pilot. That part is not negotiable.
Best of luck!

Damn iPhone!
I like it a lot but your experience will definitely depend on how comfortable you are with last minute changes! It can be a lot of fun with some fun overnights and great flying, on the flip side it can be maddening and very difficult. How maddening it is depends on well you take the news that your lovely long overnight in Kona has been replaced by an ASAP 4 leg day ending in Morristown or TEB. But IMO it's the best 135 gig out there.
