So this is how my schedule looks this rotation (definitely not a busy one).
Day 1: airline to OAK
Day 2: Redeye OAK-TEB
Day 3: sit TEB to recover from redeye (we have rules on this far and above the 10 hours of rest per FARs)
Day 4: TEB-APA-EGE
Day 5: EGE-HPN-SUA-BDL
Day 6: BDL-BKL-BCT
Day 7: who knows
Day 8: that's WAY to far in the future to give an educated guess (I'll be home by the end of it though).

All I can give you is this week (only halfway through).
Day 1. Drive MCO to BCT. Crew swap. Live leg to LAS (The crew we relieved...one took our rental car back to his FL base....the other guy airline home.)
Day 2. Just a LAS-SJC repo.
Day 3. Since two capt's were flying together they split us up to go with other FO's. I airlined back to PBI to crew another tail.
Day 4. Sitting here at home (live just north of PBI) bags are sitting near the door expecting the worst.
This is just a small sample. Remember...plinko.

Thanks for the insight-much appreciated.
I'm guessing anyplace around the globe is fair game but there's a lot of TEB and Aspen and Van Nuys stuff lol.
I've got a ton of time (3800 total and half of that multi) but just started with a regional and am building turbine time.
I enjoy it but the 8/6 schedule at XO would be sweet and the type of flying challenging and exciting.
Probably going to try to find a job fair you guys are at.
Thx!

One thing that is really nice at XOJET is that almost all of our pilots leave their egos at home. There are a few that forget and bring them to work, and those few are the guys that make an 8 day rotation miserable. They make a bad name for themselves and when it comes time to move on after XOJET they have a hard time getting to the job they want because they are blacklisted by people they mistreated.
XO is a fun place to work, mainly because of the people you work with. Work hard play hard. If you get hired, just enjoy it and remember you work as a team. If you come aboard thinking you are a gift to aviation, or that you are 10 times better than the next guy, you will NOT last long here.
As for the interviews, you may sit down with someone from HR, a few pilots, the Assistant Chief Pilot or Chief Pilot, the director of safety and another pilot, the Director of Operation, or Maintenance. I sat with HR, the Director of Safety and one of the most senior pilots, a Captain and First Officer from the Citation fleet and the Director of Operations. Safety and the senior guy did technical interviewing. I got a little more technical stuff from the flight crew, but they mainly wanted to feel out who I was an how I would be to get along with for an 8 day rotation. The DO interview can literally take any direction from technical to HR to personality. Mine was more about who I am, why I wanted to work there, who I knew and what to expect should I get hired. It is a very thorough process and I honestly believe that is why we have such a good group of people. Try not to be too nervous. They really want to see who you are as a person. Be confident, yet humble and don't be afraid to say "I don't know" if really you don't know the answer to something.
Good luck to those that applied!
