Hello! Couple of questions to you guys.
1-How much money yearly do you guys average with the atlantic points?
2-if you want to work overtime to make those extra $600 a day is it easy to get? Or not likely?
3-can you eat and also drink beer with those $80 a day? 😅
I would love to work there I currently fly as an FO in a Citation Excel for an owner that I dont like very much but he pays me about 70k a year so Im trying to figure out if I can make a little more than the $52200 published in the APC pay scale site.
Thanks!

2 - As far as involuntarily getting home late on your last day and getting the extra $600.00, it happens, but I would say not that often. Guys do however notify the company and make themselves available for extra flying either a day or two prior to a rotation, or at the end of the 8 day rotation. That happens quite a bit, but it depends on the needs of the company whether or not they need the help. Around holidays and peak season, you can get it quite often if you wish.
3 - You get reimbursed UP TO 80.00/day for actual meal expenses. Not to be confused with a perdiem. Alcohol is not reimbursable as that would present a legal issue. It's a big kid system. If you abuse it, you will be called onto the carpet to explain yourself. However, if you've been playing by the rules and you have had a tough trip, or some long days and you feel like treating yourself to a nice steak and you go over the 80.00 a little bit, they understand.
Upgrades are running 11-12 months on the Citation X right now and about 16 months on the Challenger. The Challenger upgrade time is coming down too.

1 - Atlantic bucks vary each rotation. Some years you may average 2000.00 and others 3000.00. I came in just over 3000.00 for 2015. Taxable income of course.

On the Atlantic bucks doesn't it say you'll only get a 1099 if you exceed 600.00? On CA I flew with says he has accounts for his wife and kids as well so they don't ever exceed the 600.00 and don't have to report it.
Just found this On the site:
"This total represents YTD payment, including the prior year’s awards funded during the 5-day grace period. Amount Funded will match your 1099 form, if you receive $600 or more, but may not match your Atlantic Awards earned this year."

I made a little over $60,000 as an FO this past year, which included Atlantic bucks, fuel savings program, and a bunch of half overtime pay days. Could probably make more working full overtime pay days, but i enjoy my time off and not feasible with young child at home. Also on a side note, made about $1,500 in tips. Tips are hit or miss, don't count on them.

Looks like some good info on here, just one question hopefully I didn't miss:
I see the 8/6 schedule listed on the airline page, or 14/13 for "int'l or Hawaii" based pilots. Is it possible to opt for the 14/13 schedule as a default or is everyone pushed towards 8/6? As a Mon-Sat guy right now I feel like I work all the time anyway, so clustering time off sounds just fine to me.
