Does XO use iPads for charts, etc?? Or are they paper?
Is there a lot of sitting around FBOs waiting for clients to show up, or do they stick to the schedule pretty closely?
I'm not too familiar with 135 ops- obviously no jumpseaters like in 121. Are there Fed rides?? Or just recurrent training? Is that done in-house or elsewhere? What about during initial training and type checkride?
Ever any flights across the pond to Europe or beyond?
Ever any flights up to Alaska?
Whenever I check XO on flightaware it seems to be mostly domestic lower-48 stuff but maybe there are other flights when I'm not looking.

Sometimes you'll wait around an fbo. Depends on trip and needs of client. I personally don't get a lot of these type trips. Usually dropping and popping.
Fed rides? Not really. We have a POI but doesn't ride along like a 121 guy would.
300 guys go to MMU for sim.
X guys go to FSI MCO.
No more Europe trips. Wasn't profitable.
Yes. I've done alaska a couple times.
Mostly lower 48. more than 50% transcons. A lot of Caribbean trips/Canada/Mexico etc.

Just curious for any of the XO peeps...
Do they still prefer internal recs?
Do they shy away from overly qualified folks and look for lower time folks?
Any better region to live in to get noticed?
Thanks!

Internal recs seem to be what get you noticed quickest, but I had a guy in my class who had zero connections here. The second best way are job fairs. I was told you have better chances living in east or west coast, but I don't know if I beleive that part so much. They seem to hire all sorts of experience types.
