THIS is why so many there are unhappy...... A 12 on 3 day off schedule and Astro, scheduling software written by folks who took little account of human factors that now often keeps pilots AWAY from home base for the entire tour versus before Astro. I have heard the term "slave ship" mentioned in the pilot lounge of FBO's, but I usually comment that that term is pretty culturally insensitive... However, the term "Sweat Shop" definitely applies to any place with a 12/3 schedule that loves to hit the OPTOMIZE (or something - OMIZE) button on Astro.
Pay and benefits get few complaints that I hear of. But it is mainly the schedule that is driving and keeping pilots away. They are advertising on APC now along with the regionals.... Nice crews, good equipment, fair pay, with the worst schedule in the fractional industry. Funny that pilot exodus forced a little change to 10/5, unlike Wheels Up that went quickly to 7/6 after their exodus and they swore that this would never happen. EAS will come around one of these days....
Someone already updated the profile with the pay scale. How is the schedule? Is it still 12 days straight?
All PIC's are or will be on 10/5 by 4/2016 and SIC's with more then 12 months on property will go to 10/5. The schedule sounds bad but it could be worse. It all depends some rotations you will work all 10 and the next maybe only 6 days. I can guarantee I am home more then the Wheels Up crews that are on 8/6. Last rotation I worked 5 days and was off for 11. Is that the norm, absolutely not, but sometimes you luck out.

Now, with the effects of the pilot shortage coming to pass, pilots are beginning to say eff u..... The 10/5 schedule is still crappy and draconian compared to other operators, but at least it is a step in the right direction. My analogy is that a bus load of pretty, friendly girls has just showed up at the Riddle dance, and the mean ones who've been running the dance don't know what to do with the newfound competition..

Some news for the New Year. Airshare has signed with Textron to trade in the last two king air 90's and the two oldest king air 350's. They have been traded towards two new King air 350i's with the fusion panels, one of which has already been delivered and the other sometime in the spring.
