Wiz,
I'm not really sure what your looking for here.
I have a wife and 3 kiddos at home (7,5,3) too!
The family is very important!
As for the Sked....the 12/3 is built upon being in and out of base during your 12 days. You will have time where you can have multi day trips in a row or 2 day back to backs or a 3-4 day tossed in.
It varies upon the client trip requests. The thing to understand is that we spent nights at home during the 12. There are times where we get stretched out in other bases sometimes. That's the nature of the beast. The key is that scheduling and managment eyeballs are on your Sked and will find ways to get you home if something goes haywire.
To ask what is a typical Sked is impossible to define.
One guy might do 6 day trips, 3 standby at home days and a 3 day while another guys might to three 3 days and 3 standby at home days during his. Scheduling tries their best to even the load so everyone gets the most nights at home. Each 12 day rotation is different from the last.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I am just trying to compare it to the airlines that I am currently flying. Wondering if you could maybe post your last 12 days on, looking to see how it lays out; start and end times on the day trips, how long the layovers tend to be, and if you end up sitting at the fbo during those day trips. I am new to this line of flying but really interested in doing it. I am more of a personal person and would like to work with clients on a one on one basis. Thanks for the help. Just trying to see how this life style would be like. I hope I am making sense.
Also what are all the bases that one can be hired into? Thanks again.

It would really serve a point to post my Sked or any pilots 12 rotation.
What your used to is the same 2 day, 3 day or 4 day trip with the exact same start and end times, overnights and legs.
We have a min 10 hrs overnights and can be far longer than that.
Start times for trips vary as well. Some have 0600ish shows to 1800shows. It's all dependent upon when the customer wants to go.
Sitting at FBO's is not common. Usually whena customer has a day trip an you choose to stay at the FBO rather than venture out.
The overall comparison between airline life and Corporate life is too great to discuss here in one post.
PM me with you contact info and we can play Q&A.

That's great news for everyone! I know it's a gamble on which base that new 300 is destined for. But is it true that a 100 pilot would transition to a 300 creating a 100 opening for the street? Or is it possible that a KA driver will take the 100 opening? Thanks RI. I am excited for EAS growth!

Although....if you have no jet time, you will need to have some experience and personality to make up for it.
