Doing so has worked before at other properties, and it will surely work here.

With your support this fight is far from over.
Ah, yes...the real reason that they're doing this. Line their pockets, boys and girls. It's your only way to salvation!!!

Nope. You said nothing of the sort. I have no idea why you continually imply otherwise.
The new business model has nothing to do with the union being voted in. No matter how hard you want that to be true, it simply is not.

Now, that said, I am not a fan of the union response to the new business model.

I never said that the new business model had anything to do with the union. I have stated, however, that the union will ruin this company. The higher-ups are furthering the problem outside of the union stuff as well. It's an unworkable dynamic at this juncture between all parties.

I love how you tried twisting my simple statement again though. Nice try. If I was you, I'd focus on finding a new job instead of trying to create ways to sound smart on an internet forum.

As I stated before quite clearly - good luck to all current CA pilots.

So who ruined the company? The union, or the higher ups?

Johnso

It was a partnership deal, plus fractionals are fracturing, that helped, too

That company has been a zoo since the beginning. It was never profitable and never run very well. The union is 100% the straw that broke the camel's back.

And in the interest of being fair, the new business model is a freakin' joke.

So to be fair, the company was destined for failure regardless.

Exactly. Any reasonable person would see that. Severe just wants to pin it on the union and sees no other logic.
I agree... If the CA pilots voted down the union, we would have made millions instead of lost millions.
What a freekin idiot.

Yeah, I'm the idiot. What're you, 12 years old? Throw some sand at me, too.

The union hindered any sort of chance that the company had at turning itself around (that was definitely a SLIM chance). Non-stop "negotiations", having to "fix" things that the union won't like, etc. It's not a workable solution. Had the union come upon a successful company (at least mildly profitable), it would probably have been 6 to one, half-dozen to the other with regards to being any sort of help to the pilot group.

To bring the union storm upon a company that was already failing indeed makes those who voted "yes" the true idiots.
