Let me start by saying that I am not with FlexJet, but I will tell you what I have heard. I was looking for that same information the other day and came across a news article that said they were looking for 20 pilots. Take that for what it is worth. After all, they can't say anything on the internet that isn't true

That article is accurate. Twenty pilots by year's end is wheat they've told us. As recently as last week they had over 600 resumes to sort through and internal recommendations are probably going to fill those 20 slots. It is/has been very busy around here since January. Good luck. Hope to see you on board one day.

Don't listen to those people...A lot of the negative remarks you read is from guys who think Bombardier sold out the company's soul to sell Netjets planes.. They're angry at Bombardier for getting in bed with NJA, they feel "left out"

But FlexJet is a good company, good place to work...A flight school buddy of mine works there. He seems to be happy... Apply ASAP before the wave of resumes from commuter-airline guys arrives

While I can say I was hoping for less than 600+ apps for 20 slots, I am not surprised by it for a company like FlexJet. Knowing that I am just one of over 600 seems like quite a long shot, but as they say, the only way to have no chance at getting hired is to not apply.

Dear New Guy 007,

It may seem like I'm picking on you but I'm not...

When you send your app in please don't send it to "FlexJets". They are very picky about the brand name. I wouldn't put it past them to file your app for that very reason. In fact we actually have a brand manual. It states things like fonts, colors, what letters are capital and what we can and can't change on our logo.

Check out the website and get comfortable with it (even though it is probably about to change)

I would hate to see a potentially great applicant get passed over for this. It's all about the details.

Oh, and since yesterday's announcement, I'm sure we'll be hiring a lot more than 20 now. They just couldn't tell us that before. Good luck to ya.

Dead on. I know that the marketing department takes their branding very seriously. They don't seem to care too much about proper grammar on the company board but at least get the company name right. And NEVER put an "s" at the end of it! : )
