The above is so correct. Ive experienced this firsthand, and after the offer was made I reminded and inquired about my USAFR duty and was later contacted and told that I may not be a fit for the company, a better suited/qualified candidtate was selected instead. In this day and age, its really difficult to prove, especially in a "right to work" state that these practices still continue.
Long gone are the days when a company tells you why you were not selected so you can focus on strengthening that aspect of your interview.

We have LOTS of guard and reserve folks. They are generally good about working with your schedule. Basically, you can drill on company duty days and have your pay reduced accordingly, or drill on days off and work your regular schedule. Usually, it is a combination.

I've got a quick question, how was the Citation Encore? I was talking to an Netjets guy the other day in Hobby and he mentioned it's always broken, but is that the case? I never flew Citations but I thought a V/Ultra/Encore would be rather dependable and capable?
