Netjet FO Pay in next contract?
#21
As some had said earlier, we are in a contract fight right now. As long as we stand together and settle for nothing less, this will once again be a career ending place. It's very important that the new hires understand we need you to stand with us during this time. Many of you will see the difference from your previous employment and love this place. Let me be the first to tell you, it was 100X better back in 2008. Standing together, we can achieve the pay gains we deserve and keep our awesome benefits.
Good luck to those who are interested and I welcome you to the fight we have on our hands.
Sincerely,
7 Year F.O. at 91,500 (18 day schedule) with some of the best benefits in the industry.

As for the 15-day, I've been here more than 8 years and am not senior enough to hold it. So I wouldn't factor that into your decision.
I am.

The 18-day doesn't really pay any better; it's just more workdays at the same daily rate. It's 18% more workdays for roughly 18% more money.

Not only do I make more and have more time at home, I don't have to get coffee, ice, papers, load/unload bags, get catering, throw out trash, vacuum, wipe down tables and windows, clean the toilet, get water, clear customs, get unfreezable items out of aircraft if freezing overnight, restock, order and monitor fuel and o2, figure out how to get to/from hotel/FBO, etc., etc. Oh, and execute normal flying operations.
If you are already getting jet PIC at your current job, stay there until a major calls, because they will. Unfortunately, Netjets will never be as good as majors. That's why I left.

Thank you for leaving.
Exactly. I enjoyed my time with Netjets, but quality of life is unbelievably better at the majors.

Personally, I'd rather fly a limo than a Greyhound. But, I guess if you're too lazy to do anything but yank your gear and your yoke, I guess you found your niche.
