AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!!!!! Look at the posted list. If it is on the list then it is an option. New contract under negotiation. When that is signed perhaps things will be different. :-)

I see how it works. Thanks!! How close to the airport must you live? Call out times?

You just need to be at your base at showtime. No distance requirement. There is no callout time like in the airline world.

There are times when you have what's called show at residence. The company knows how far you live from your domicile. At that point you have 30 minutes to leave your house. But it's very rare to have one of those these days.

I hear honest politicians, canned unicorn and fish farts are more common than a show at home these days.

To add: You will be told between 6 and 7pm the night before what your show time is for your first day, once you get your show time it can not change. It will be sent to your company Iphone, you look at it, order food and put the iphone away until you get to work the next day. If you are based in PNS I would say you will most likely get an airline 90% of the time, they will give you a one hour show go in PNS on most occasions. If they start you on day one before 8am they pay you hourly overtime until 8am and then again after 9 hours of duty, but only on day one. Show at home is common in the more frequented airports, in PBI it happens more as there is usually a airplane to fly at PBI but you have to wait for your partner to airline in and they will start your duty day close to the other. Basing in places like PBI, HPN, IAD, MDW, TEB, VNY, LAX, DAL, HOU, MCO, PDK show at home and overnights at home are more common. I haven't been to FAR, FSD, MFR or GEG yet after 9 years, you get the point.
