I know you guys are being sold that NJA is the greatest company, it is for the guys that aren't in the bottom 1000 pilots. The company has almost no growth in 7+ years and the net new airframes is a negative number. In 2008 NJA was BROKE! Uncle Warren had to come in and back stop the company! The company is for sale but no buyers!!! The company and the Fractional market isn't what it use to be. Go get a type and RUN to the Majors! If you don't when the markets turn again you'll see first hand what happens to the bottom 1000 pilots! Just know what you're getting into with NJA! Use it for what it is, a stepping stone like other regionals just with better pay! BTW the top 1000 at NJA couldn't get hired in the last hiring boom! You'll see why!! The guys from 1000 to 2000 are either retired or the rejects from every other RJ operator that shut down (FlyI). The big one that D.Q'ed NJA pilots is the "No College degree". NJA is great at hype, other than that it's just another 135 with decent pay and life if you were hired in the 90's and couldn't get hired at the Majors. just an FYI.

Thanks EZE , you make some valid points especially about upgrade times , but you lose the crowd by insulting the pilot group at large, some of our guys are going to the majors, some are going to ( a few) 91 operators, and some actually enjoy the frac life and NJA, we have an outstanding Union on the property and we are looking forward to an improved CBA heading down the pike, FYI NJA like every other operation out there is not a utopia but we are striving to make it better, It may or it may not be a good fit for everybody, but it is better than any other frac or 135 in existence, it works for some of us : ). In my humble opinion of course !!!

Have friends at Flex, was at NJA for a long time! Have fun on the bottom flying the 300, what you guys fail to realize is the money didn't come till 2006 contract. Guys weren't running for NJA! Go see, you'll see for yourself. Trust me I know plenty about NJA. Very good friend does the hiring! They actually call the Hilton Garden Inn and see how guys act. WATCH OUT! If you network at the interview bank on not getting an offer, if they see it. Do I see a problem with it? Heck no, they do. They plant a mole to watch how the folks act. I know they had a FA interview class come in and they openly were networking each others emails and NO ONE was hired! It's cool I won't post anymore info. You guys have it all figured out, Take care!

1.) Applied at NJA and did not get hired.
2.) Is thinking about taking a job at PSA as a direct hire CA.
3.) Southern Air wanna be.
4.) Applied at Flex...did get hired.
5.) Looked into Spirit...did not pass psych. test.
6.) Lives at home in his mom's basement.
7.) Played FlightSim and logged it.
8.) Has internet access and a lot of free time.
9.) Taco Bell is also not hiring.
10.) English is a 5th language for him.
